Where We Work

TongueOut is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that delivers medical care, education, and humanitarian support to underserved communities across multiple countries. Our teams of volunteer doctors, nurses, educators, and youth ambassadors travel to these regions to provide tangible help to the most vulnerable members of society.

Vietnam

Vietnam is our most active project location. Our teams work in rural highland communities and low-income villages throughout the country, providing eye surgeries, medical clinic services, school construction and repair, education scholarships, leprosy care, and community food distribution. We partner with local organizations including 7 Day Hero and Tam Ky Projects to maximize our impact.

Mexico (Tijuana)

Close to home, TongueOut makes regular trips to Tijuana, Mexico, where we serve Casa Hogar Sion - an orphanage housing 70+ children that relies entirely on private donors. We also provide medical clinic services and leprosy care to communities in the Tijuana region.

Peru

TongueOut's medical teams travel to remote villages in Peru to provide eye surgeries, general medical care, and community support to populations with limited healthcare access.

Haiti

In Haiti, one of the most impoverished nations in the Western Hemisphere, TongueOut provides orphanage care and eye surgery services through our partner clinics, bringing medical volunteers and supplies to children and families in desperate need.
